Yes, I know, it's a Sony and right now their on everyone's DU Shit List. But I've always been happy with their Products and I've had their SonicStage on my computer for over a year with my old minidisc player. And now all my songs are not only uploaded into SonicStage (about 1500 songs) but converted to Altrac3 so I can save space of my 12gig HD (Altrac3 is about half the size of MP3 but same quality. Plus a 1gig Sony Walkman holds about 3 times as much as other 1GB MP3 players (around 700 songs if they're in Altrac).

The price was in my range and I got 2 free ConnectDirect tunes downloads worth about 20 songs. (That's why I took this one over the newer Sony Bean - didn't get $15 worth of free downloads with the Bean).

It's neat because it charges through your computer and everyone says that the battery lasts like 50-60 hours. I can also get a car adapter to charge it through my car.
