Kid Rock is an asshole, a republican and just trash that doesn't deserve to be a 'celebrity'

And yet when I hear "Cowboy" I just love that song. It's a great song to workout on the Elliptical with.

But I don't feel so bad, I found out that DUer Ramsey likes one Ted Nugent song (not Cat Scratch Fever - the other one)

1. Complicated - Avril Lavigne
I got it removed from the music rotation (they play music during the commercial breaks of MNF) at the Champps by my house because every time it came on the stereo system, I'd sing along...loudly and dance.

81. The dancing is the LEAST of it, check out the LYRICS!
"My Humps"

What you gon’ do with all that junk?
All that junk inside your trunk?
I’ma get, get, get, get, you drunk,
Get you love drunk off my hump.
My hump, my hump, my hump, my hump, my hump,
My hump, my hump, my hump, my lovely little lumps. (Check it out)

I drive these brothers crazy,
I do it on the daily,
They treat me really nicely,
They buy me all these ice-ys.
Dolce & Gabbana,
Fendi and then Donna
Karan, they be sharin’
All their money got me wearin' fly
But I ain’t askin,
They say they love my ass ‘n,
Seven Jeans, True Religion's,
I say no, but they keep givin’
So I keep on takin’
And no I ain’t taken
We can keep on datin’
I keep on demonstrating.

My love, my love, my love, my love
You love my lady lumps,
My hump, my hump, my hump,
My humps they got u,
She’s got me spending.
(Oh) Spendin’ all your money on me and spending time on me.
She’s got me spendin’.
(Oh) Spendin' all your money on me, up on me, on me

What you gon’ do with all that junk?
All that junk inside that trunk?
I’ma get, get, get, get, you drunk,
Get you love drunk off my hump.
What u gon’ do with all that ass?
All that ass inside them jeans?
I’m a make, make, make, make you scream
Make u scream, make you scream.
Cos of my hump, my hump, my hump, my hump.
My hump, my hump, my hump, my lovely lady lumps. (Check it out)

I met a girl down at the disco.
She said hey, hey, hey yea let’s go.
I could be your baby, you can be my honey
Lets spend time not money.
I mix your milk wit my cocoa puff,
Milky, milky cocoa,
Mix your milk with my cocoa puff, milky, milky riiiiiiight.

They say I’m really sexy,
The boys they wanna sex me.
They always standing next to me,
Always dancing next to me,
Tryin’ a feel my hump, hump.
Lookin’ at my lump, lump.
U can look but you can’t touch it,
If you touch it I'ma start some drama,
You don’t want no drama,
No, no drama, no, no, no, no drama
So don’t pull on my hand boy,
You ain’t my man, boy,
I’m just tryn’a dance boy,
And move my hump.

My hump, my hump, my hump, my hump,
My hump, my hump, my hump, my hump, my hump, my hump.
My lovely lady lumps
In the back and in the front.
My lovin’ got u,
She’s got me spendin’.
(Oh) Spendin’ all your money on me and spending time on me.
She’s got me spendin’.
(Oh) Spendin' all your money on me, up on me, on me.

What you gon’ do with all that junk?
All that junk inside that trunk?
I’ma get, get, get, get you drunk,
Get you love drunk off my hump.
What you gon’ do with all that ass?
All that ass inside them jeans?
I’ma make, make, make, make you scream
Make you scream, make you scream.
What you gon do with all that junk?
All that junk inside that trunk?
I’ma get, get, get, get you drunk,
Get you love drunk off this hump.
What you gon’ do wit all that breast?
All that breast inside that shirt?
I’ma make, make, make, make you work
Make you work, work, make you work.
She’s got me spendin’.
Spendin all your money on me and spendin’ time on me
She’s got me spendin’.
Spendin' all your money on me, up on me, on me.

Makes me wanna get all Tipper Gore on their asses.
I don't want my girls exchanging their bodies for money. Sooooo...
I don't let them listen to this one at home. But they hear it anyway...

myself. Thought ted rocked until I saw him in concert and he did a love song to bill and hillary. It was an expletive with their names after it. (also included ted kennedy, and other noted liberals.) his politics are annoying and that is what turns me off.

7. Oooo, mine are painful - happy bouncy pop dreck!
- "Celebrate" by Kool and the Gang,

- Bobbi Brown's "My Perogative"

- bunches of stuff by Rick Astly (yes, I know Nick Lowe rhymed him with "ghastly")

- The Beach Boys "Kokomo"

- Almost all of the "songs you know by heart" by Jimmy Buffett

My SO, who loves Peter Gabrieal and Elvis Costello and the Clash, says I have an ongoing beach party going on in my mind, with exerable pop playing in the background

36. Seventies story songs
Everything from "The Night Chicago Died" to "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia" all the way down to "Run Joey Run"- I love 'em. Oh yeah, and all that Kasenatz-Katz bubblegum stuff, too: "1-2-3 Red Light", "Indian Giver", etc. And countless others by many artists and of many genres as well.

Keep in mind that I was born several years after most of these were recorded, so I don't even have the excuse of nostalgic feelings clouding my judgment!

I can't help it...I've always liked that song, along with a lot of their Saturday Night Fever stuff ("Night Fever" "More than a Woman" etc.).

Same goes with "Get Down Tonight" and "That's the Way" by the KC and Sunshine Band.

Being someone who mostly loves heavier, angrier, moodier, and edgier music, my love for these songs has always been something I haven't often admitted to.

62. I think it's because Green Day has evolved so much.
I mean, I have all the GD CDs and American Idiot is just such a different world from Kerplunk, 1039 and even their first major release - Dookie. But American Idiot turned me on to their older stuff. I rarely start liking a band when they first come out especially when all the kiddies seem to go nuts for them like they did with Dookie.

American Idiot deserves all the praise and awards it has received because it really is that amazing of an album. I guess it's popularity makes it disdainable by others who prefer obscure bands that no one ever plays on the radio. I just happen to like both!

I also like Billy Joel even though I'm otherwise hard-core New Wave/Goth/Industrial.

Yeah, I know Vanilla Ice is a big putz who stole the riff from "Under Pressure" by Queen/Bowie (great song!), but, what the hell. I like that song.

63. Can't think of a song so how about an artist..
... I actually like Billy Squier although I hated him back in the day.

In fact, my tastes lean to more artsy stuff - drooler rock is not my thing really, but I've started noticing when I hear an old Billy Squier on the classic rock station that I actually enjoy it.

Help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wedding Bell Blues
The 5th Dimension

Bill, I love you so, I always will
I look at you and see the passion eyes of May
Oh, but am I ever gonna see my wedding day
I was on your side Bill when you were loosin'
I never scheme or lie Bill, there's been no foolin'
But kisses and love won't carry me till you marry me Bill

I love you so, I always will
And in your voice I hear a choir of carousels
Oh, but am I ever gonna hear my wedding bells
I was the one who came runnin' when you were lonely
I haven't lived one day not lovin' you only
But kisses and love won't carry me til you marry me Bill

I love you so, I always will
And though devotion rules my heart I take no bows
But Bill you're never gonna take those wedding vows
Oh, come on Bill
Oh, come on Bill
Come on and marry me Bill
I got the wedding bell blues
Please marry me Bill
I got the wedding bell blues
Marry me Bill

the group Ace of Base. Cheesiest fuckin' song you've ever heard, and I dug it!

I also like several songs by Kid Rock--broke my heart to learn he was a repuke.
