Need a computer geek!

I get headaches sitting at my computer for too long.

Today I posted a message in GD about quotes from "The American Taliban" and I highlighted the text. The pictures that were in the message were also highlighted but when they were they had a very ...um... grainy texture. Not sure how else to describe it. They were kind of "flashy" even though they were static pictures.

Anyone have any suggestions how to make it stop doing that? I've got updated vid drivers but that didn't help.

1. Set the refresh rate to anything higher than 60Hz

Consult your manual, or perhaps some more generous geek will walk you through the steps.
