Necessito apprendir Espanol....
like, Ahora, now, Pronto!!!

Can anybody recommend good programs, software, tapes, etc. I'm too dern busy to take a class at community college and really need to work at my own pace.

Just moved to a school district that does bilingual ESL instead of immersion, which I had been teaching in Oregon. Now - off my ESL background - i got a tutoring job, but I'm thinking they expect me to know Spanish a bit better than I actually do. This is a dream job for me and a hard one to get, so I'm faking it.

Any help would be appreciated..

Paz!

1. Where are you? Can you take time off?
The University of Arizona has a really intensive two week program that could do the trick. (pretty sure it was two weeks - I have been wanting to try it for years)

2. Gawd I would love to go to Tucson...
there is no way, tho. I have a one-year-old at home and my wife runs a shop.

In Ohio, btw.

4. I was hoping someone would answer
'cause I would like to know too. My problem is a lot of these things are Spanish and not Mexican and that is what I would prefer.

I gave someone the advice to try Lonely Planet for Kurdish translating the other day - I guess you could try over there too, there are probably bits of info on the main site but the forums are here: http://thorntree.lonelyplanet.com/

you will have to register, "speaking in tongues" is the language forum, but try the relavant country forums too.
