LONDON: Angelina Jolie allegedly put a curse on love rival Jennifer Aniston to snatch Brad Pitt from her, according to a leading voodoo expert.

A close friend of the screen beauty reportedly found a mysterious vial of "grey powder" in the glove compartment of Pitt's car, which the actor later revealed contained the remnants of a bat, according to femalefirst.

Pitt and Aniston, who got married in July 2000, had a very public break-up earlier this year. The couple's divorce was finalized Oct 2.

Doctor Snake, the author of cult best-seller "Voodoo Spellbook", claimed the strange gift was a form of black magic which Angelina, known for her unorthodox beliefs, used to steal Pitt from Aniston.

He said: "That vial sounds suspiciously like a voodoo 'mojo hand', or magical charm to me."
