1. That's gotta be VERY tricky to do
What with all that sped up air rushing between them probably making the jets want to slam together.

It's also why I don't do airshows anymore, there's too many tapes of crowds being turned into fireballs.

10. Maybe not.
With the shape of the wings, the air rushing over them creates lift. So, I think the planes are actually pulling apart. Either way, I don't have the skill to pull it off, and it looks hard as all hell.

Oh, and a physics major I am not. So take what I say with an entire salt lick. ;)

7. Nah, the STDs come home with you.
Disgusting ad campaign.

Stupid as hell, too. Vegas achieved amazing growth and unprecedented success when it started marketing itself as a family resort, with lots of stuff to amuse the family along with the gambling (themed hotel-casinos that were like epcot, roller coasters, upscale malls).

But for some reason they want to throw that in the trash and promote themselves as "the place you can go commit adultery."

This has to be related to the scumbag mob attorney they elected mayor, the one who wants to publicly cut the hands off of graffiti vandals.

12. Eh the family thing was getting it the way
that's not what made Vegas so they went back to the old tried and true. Plus what are the "families" going to think when they are confronted with the blurred pornogrpaphy on the Strip???-personal note I thought I would go over and see what the headlines were of the major newspapers (me being a news junky and all) I really had no idea that those were FREE magazine racks. :wow:

13. Is that lower jet a bit closer to the camera?
How in the world can either pilot use visual cues here? Are they looking back over their shoulders and watching their wings in order to do this? I have noticed that the lower F-16 is slightly closer to the camera, making it look slightly larger, note the lineup of the air intakes and then compare the lineup of those lower fins or stabilizers or whatever those are called. I suspect this tiny offset is no accident. What a beautiful trick and an equally beautiful photo.
ps: this photo is a great topic too, as to your origional topic: I know nothing about Vegas.
The not so subtle innuendo of this ad campaign might be targeting our friends: the wealthy yet corrupt, holier than thou republican fundies.
