Yeah sorry about this but I'm about to run away I'm so stressed and I need to write all of this out, lest I become bat-shit crazy by the amount of work ahead of me and I need to write - I so need to write! I want to kill on this research and the only way I can do it is if I write well but I don't know if I can write well and if I do I don't know if it will be good enough but oh my God what am I going to do if it doesn't work out in the end - all that money wasted! For Pete's sake someone come and give me a backrub and stroke my head for a while and where is Patrick Fitzgerald when I need him he's such a terrific person although I don't know him I like thinking about him a lot! And yet that doesn't help with my writing - more like a distraction but it gives me enough hope to consider my research and writing oh Lord when will it ever end! Someone make me feel really good now!

however, no one says you have to do all the research at once. Start writing. Even if it sucks, chances are you'll come up with something that you like, even if it's just one sentence. Put down the books for a while and just start writing anything.

8. ZombieNixon is right. Whenever you have a big project

of this type ahead of you, start writing, just start writing. Get the ideas and rough drafting down. Some or most will be good and some of it is then done. Start writing right now; you'll calm down by doing it and getting into it and making progress.
