He is walking, but he can't climb up steps or jump.
I don't know if I want him to have the surgery on the other leg, I hate the pain he was in before and he seems to have recovered without it.

there were always eighth and ninth graders threatening to beat us up. I remember one time coming out of seventh and eighth grade choir and a bunch of 8th grade boys lined up in the hall to drag us into the bathroom and stick our heads into toilets and flush them. Ah, the good old days. Then there was our National Junior Honor Society picnic. This big 9th grader was throwing everyone into the lake, fully clothed. If either of those things happened today that school would be so sued for failing to provide security, wouldn't it?
