“Leave A Fart” Campaign At Wal-Mart
Edited on Sat Nov-12-05 10:36 PM by DistressedAmerican

Fill Up Your Colons & Leave A Bomb--Innovative Shoppers Protest Against Wal-Mart and the Chains

Maybe the accumulated assault of 1,000,000 burrito eaters and chili fanatics can drive their already overworked and underpaid staff to pick unemployment over their shitty job. Remind them their job stinks!

===========================================

Sorry for the above. But, I keep seeing that damn protest thread pop up. I really wish it would just plain die. It is a stupid idea that significantly impacts nobody but the folks that are already forced to work there despite all of the objections that have been raised. It is as stupid an idea as the one proposed above.

Pay a little attention to the end of the latest Jib-Jab for a perspective on how many have come to be employed there.

6. If it's Walmart corporate HQ, it's a great plan.
I think it would be remarkable (yet still illegal littering) for people to fill carts with random Walmart junk from the landfill and drop it on the steps of Walmart headquarters. Farting in their general direction would be a bonus, I suppose.

You're right about the stores, though. Protests are great. Putting up signs in the bathrooms is great. Talking discretely (as to not get them fired) to employees is great. Not shopping at Walmart at all is great. But being rude to employees is hardly going to matter to the Walmart as a corporation.
