Did you ever put something off...something that shouldn't have been put

off...until it was almost too late, and there's nothing to be done but just do it...because you have to?

That's what I did...and now I have to stay up late.

But darnit...my niece and nephew were over and we were having a blast (they are 10 and 6 my kids are 15 and 7) and we sat and watched what my son calls the "baby movies" (home videos of him and his cousin when they were babies) and laughed and laughed.


Now they are downstairs building a fort...and I wanna be there too...but I can't, because I put this off. Bummer.


the pizza crackers we made with sauce and cheese were good though. I'm thinking of scrounging for some toothpicks and a candle so we can do the toasted marshmallow thingy...but I really shouldn't...because of this stupid thing I have to do. :(

1. I am taking tonight.

I have to do some studying for 2 exams Tuesday and I have a seriously tough English teacher expecting some note cards with paraphrasing and a research paper due Monday. I'm taking tonight though. I'm camping out in the bedroom. My thoughts...If you have the time on the gotta-do-it to do it tomorrow, have fun and join me and the kids camping and toasting some marshmallows tonight. Do the gotta-do-it thing tomorrow. :hi:

2. Too bad you don't live nearby...the kids have set up a killer

"tent" in the basement. ;) I've gotta have this done by 8 tomorrow morning...so I better cut it out and get serious...I just don't wanna. ;)

3. Maybe you can do the thing and when you "take a break" from it,

you can toast the marshmallows. I know the feeling. I don't wanna do the English paper. Even if I get it right, he'll make me change it and then change it back. I can do no right in that class. It's part of why I put off the assignments and "take" time to relax.

College life is irritating in general nowadays. Things have changed now that I have graduated the electrical (house wiring) and gone on to the computer engineering. Did your Composition professor seem to think his class was the only class you had? Did he always seem to call on you? This guy seems to just harp on me. He's making me not care so much as I once did. I cannot wait until this semester is over. December 9th is the last day. Oh, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

6. He was a nitpicker who got it in his head that I was a "showboater"

he threatened to fail me after I had an emergency appendectomy mid semester. I threatened to take it up with the Dean. He let me finish up the class and did give me a really good grade. Hopefully it will work out much the same for you.

7. Oh yes.

I have a habit of letting some things until the last minute. Then I spend the next day bouncing off the walls trying to get everything done.

8. I keep putting off making a decision about grad school...

I don't know what I'm waiting for, I graduate in May and I want to get a GA possition...these sort of opportunities just don't fall from the sky. What can I say I'm a hard core procrastinator
