1. Nope, not snowing in Republic.
Kinda warm last night, more of a "pineapple wind", snow looks unlikely today. :hi: Bruce

Saw a car drive by with a 1/4 inch of snow on it.

5. Snowbound in Issaquah ....
Damnit .... I promised my kids it rarely snowed in Seattle ... I said it was too temperate: too close to the moderating ocean: too low in elevation .... I fergot this part: Rain + (<32 Deg F) = snow ... We have an inch so far ... and it is still snowing at 8:13am ...

10. Snow...is that the new Puyallup term for cocaine?
You might as well live in Spanaway.

14. Cocaine? Are you kidding? Puyallup is Freeperville. The hard drug of
choice is booze. Although there is actually a lively trade in meth around here.

19. I know, I was stationed at Ft. Lewis
and my soldiers were constantly on the East side of post scoping out meth labs. Dangerous stuff. We had to find the stuff wearing our chemical suits and gas masks. B

15. Damn, girl! How can you curl up on a cold day with some hot chocolate
and a hot body if it doesn't snow? Shame. Move someplace snowy. Lazy go-nowhere snow days are very rewarding. ;-)

16. We get sleet/freezing drizzle/occasional ice...
...but no snow. No one goes anywhere on those days either. ;-)

18. Oh, it gets cold here...
and it drizzles and sleets. But you can't build sleetmen or sleet-forts. And you can't throw a sleet-ball at someone or they'll press assault charges. And I'm cold all the time anyway. My toes are cold even in August when it's 117 degrees outside. Mmm...hot chocolate sounds good right now. So does a warm guy to put my cold feet on. ;-)

13. Rain/snow mix in Poulsbo
What I like to call "clumpy rain". No snow here in downtown Seattle, of course.

The radio (as I was waking up) was listing school closures and delays, but it sounded like it was all up in Snohomish county. Any DUers from up north?

22. How typical. There's a light dusting of snow on the ground, that
will be gone by noon, and all of a sudden, there's a frenzy of school closures.

20. All the highways in BC are closed today
Cause it's coming down so hard....that's a good thing...nothing like a slippery sectionon a BC 5000 foot death drop corner to thin out the population.
