UNDO
Edited on Tue Nov-08-05 11:46 PM by TimeChaser
Well, I was posting a bunch of random lyrics from Wolf's Rain the other night, so here's some more anime lyric goodness... This time, a translation of the 3rd opening song from Fullmetal Alchemist, UNDO by Cool Joke.

"Far away, far away our feelings lay
If only we could go back
to the days the two of us could laugh innocently...

It broke into pieces
like a work of glass
I'm gathering up the pieces of my memories
You only notice what's important
after it's gone

The world without you in it
Is like a jig-saw puzzle
Incomplete, and forever lacking
Because there's no one who
could ever replace you

Please, please stop time
and carve your silhouette into my heart
If only, if only it were forgivable
I wouldn't mind sacrificing everything
to see that smile one more time...

We are linked by a chain
called reality
Even the things I dream about are not granted to me
Yet, I continue to search
For the light that shines on the darkness

Far away, far away our feelings lay
For the days when the two of us could laugh innocently...
Please, please stop time
and carve your silluete into my heart
If only, if only it were forgivable
I wouldn't mind sacrificing everything
to see that smile one more time...

One more time..."

2. I love FMA
My friends call me Ed sometimes because of my height (or lack of it, rather). Therefore, I'm going to make an Ed costume for a convention this spring.

6. Well, it's what Envy calls Ed
Hagane no Renkinjutsushi is the Japanese term for "Fullmetal Alchemist," so I've usually seen Hagane no Chibi-san translated as "Fullmetal Shorty"
