Thoughts about the movie "Jarhead" (((spoilers possibly)))

You know, the one thing the depicted in the movie was about how boring it was for the Marines over in Iraq as they sat around and waited to get into the suck. Then when 2 of the snipers actually had an opportunity to actually get some action, a major stops them from completing their duties and ends up just air-bombing everything in site.

This time around it's the exact opposite - what the soldiers wanted so desperately in the first gulf war they are getting an abundance of in this one (to the tune of 2000+ dead soldiers and thousands more damaged for life).
