Poll question: Who will win the Heisman?
Reggie Bush from Helix HS, La Mesa CA will win it this year. He's got speed, moves, strength and intellegence (4.0 GPA). My son blocked for both Bush and SF 49er QB Alex Smith.

When Reggie played in High School it was like it wasnt fair. He averaged 250 yds rushing, 100 yds receiving a game. He was also the punter and played DB. Amazing athlete and young man. His Mom is a really cool Lady too.

4. As in Gino Torretta? Who wasnt even the best player on his team?
And Marshall Faulk didnt take it that year after breaking all NCAA rushing records.
Sometimes it is.

8. Reggie Bush, unless he and Leinart split the vote
And that allows someone else to take it. Normally that's much more feared than fact, when you've got two top guys from the same team or region. The voters properly isolate one or the other, like giving it to Leinart last year. This year I think they'll celebrate Reggie.

I saw Reggie Bush in the Army High School All Star game on ESPN after his senior season. That game was stacked with superstars including Chris Leak and Kyle Wright, who were the respective QBs and now start for Florida and Miami. But the unquestioned best player in the game was Reggie Bush. The moves were astounding. As you say, he's also a terrific person, based on conversations I've had with contacts at USC.
