What is your favorite Neil Young cd?
Mine is "Everybody Knows This is Nowhere." I was Neil Young ignorant until I saw Neil play with Sonic Youth, many years ago. I was astonished, he was playing with Crazy Horse on this tour. I believe that was around 1990.

Despite all the nice things that I have said about you this evening. I HATE you for seeing that show, I am so jealous. By the way, 1972 was the year that I was born. I still hate you though.

6. I bought a CD once - just to listen to that song.
I wonder if the fact that I was born in Georgia had anything to do with it.

11. I'm with you
I love Everybody Knows. I love him when he plays with Crazy Horse - it's great stuff. The song Everybody Knows This is Nowhere is so short but I just love it - it's one of my favorite songs. Makes me think of home and brings a tear to my eye every time.

I wish that I could go back home
And take it easy.... :)

15. Harvest
Possibly one of the greatest country music disks EVER. Young was ready for the country, and he laid things out powerfully on that album. Even Ronnie Van Zant was pissed off at Young because of "Alabama".

From the emotional strains of "Old Man" to the junkie anthem "The Needle and the Damage Done", it's a statement album.

18. Harvest
Without a doubt. I might even still have that on vinyl, with grooves in it from being played over and over.

"Will I see you give
more than I can take?
Will I only harvest some?
As the days fly past
will we lose our grasp
Or fuse it in the sun?"
