Joe Walsh
That awful song "Life's Been Good" just came on my cubemate's radio.

Great. That awful ditty is so interminable that it'll still be playing when I leave the office six hours from now.

3. I would, but now
He's changed the station, and I've heard two AC/DC songs since the original post.

Holy shit.

4. The smoker you drink, the player you get
Joe is the man.

5. I used to work at a recording studio and heard a great Joe Walsh
story. This took place when Joe was still quite a drinker.

Joe was scheduled to come in and do some guitar work on an album -- I don't know which one. Anyhow, the engineers had everything set up and were waiting for him. About midnight, this limo rolls up and Joe practically falls out of the car; he can hardly stand up.

They get Joe inside and hand him his guitar and he is almost passed out. The engineer rolls the tape, Joe hears the music, wakes up, and nails his guitar part in one take. The music stops, and Joe nods off again. According to my friend, this happened three or four times. My friend said it was one of the most amazing things he has ever seen.
