3. Well, I was going to post the lyrics to "Working For The Weekend"
Y'know, Canada still hasn't come up with a satisfactory apology for Loverboy, yet.

:silly:

8. I grew up with that stuff
Like many of us did, I expect. Not in Italian, though. (Do the rhymes really work?) :)

9. I can't imagine the rhymes could be quite as effective.
I honestly believe those books contributed significantly to the abstract-thinking centers of many a child's brain. One of my favorite things about having children is being able to revisit all my old favorite stories and share them with my own little ones. Certain books just conjure up seemingly ancient feelings that I enjoy experiencing again.

4. some of them cries about it...
Could fill spoons full of diamonds,
Could fill spoons full of gold.
Just a little spoon of your precious love
Will satisfy my soul.

Men lies about it.
Some of them cries about it.
Some of them dies about it.
Everything's a-fightin' about the spoonful.
That spoon, that spoon, that spoonful.
That spoon, that spoon, that spoonful.
That spoon, that spoon, that spoonful.
That spoon, that spoon, that spoonful.

Could fill spoons full of coffee,
Could fill spoons full of tea.
Just a little spoon of your precious love;
Is that enough for me?

Could fill spoons full of water,
Save them from the desert sands.
But a little spoon of your forty-five
Saved you from another man.
