3. I think I had a little singsong voice
as a kid, so my uncle started it. My mom's nickname is chirp because her kisses make a chirping noise, so it was always "here comes chirp and grilla"

4. Mine came from NFTY
most of the people I knew had a nickname of some sort. they were still deciding on mine when I hapend to aproch them while they were telling their "Mad goat sex minus the Goat", a catch phrase of this particular group. At which point Brit said that's it Goat. your nickname is Goat".
Oddly enough the joke didn't take on a whole new meaning like I thought it would. the phrease has since been expanded to "Mad goat sex minus the goat with battle cuttlery that is to posted on the internet free of charge".

7. Not mine, but
I went to high school with a guy who inexplicably made a tye-dye shirt with all the usual colors and, uh, brown. The resulting shirt, which he wore for an entire year, had a giant brown streak down the middle of the back.

He was forever known as "Poop Stain" - and still is to this day 20 years later.

8. Christmas Salami!
Came from a substitute teacher in high school mangling my last name, and my friends eventually adopted it as a moiker.

9. Gorfus
A combination of gordo (Spanish for fat) and doofus. This is why you have to be nice to pledges so that whatever horrible nickname your pledges impose on you behind your back doesn't stick when they become brothers.

They proceeded to make the next pledge class yell "Gorfus" every time I entered a room and arranged a G-O-R-F-U-S chant at a college football game in my honor. I hate them so much. :dunce:

10. Spooky.
Seriously.

When I was a kid, my nickname was "Spooky" because I used to scare the neighborhood kids shitless (which was really fun, btw).

12. I had a bunch of local bar hounds who nicknamed me the swampbitch
because I'm from Louisiana and I can be a bitch if I get pissed.

Had an employer and some co-workers who called me Flash cause i could ge the job quicker than anyone else.
