1. I once lived in a rental house with fleas

The other girls had indoor/outdoor cats, who lived in MY room.

A friend came over, and her legs got all flea-bitten. It was so bad, you could see them leap out of the carpet as you shuffled across it.

Turned me off cats for years. (Ah, all those years of 8-hour nights of sleep!)

2. just get a flea and tick collar

cut it into pieces and put it in your vacuum cleaner bag.

I have never tried this, but my little sister says it is the only thing that those are good for.

3. I remember being in Miami when houses were 'tented' to kill fleas.
