Good Wednesday Morning, Everybody!
:donut::hi:
Time to rise and shine and get this day started! I hope you're all doing well! Captain Clintmax with ya here and we're going to start off the early morning crew with a great "Get Your Butt Outta Bed Song"..."Mornin'" by Al Jarreau. (cue music) *singing* "Mornin mister radio, morning little cheerios..."

1. morning Clintmax
I am somewhat sad this morning. Has to do with something I watched last night and that brought back all the memories from my dad dieing 4 1/2 years ago. I shouldn't have watched it but it was interesting and I can say for sure we did the right thing back then.

2. Hello, Miss Honey.
I'm sorry you're feeling sad. I know how a program can invoke those kinds of feelings though, so I know what you're going through. I'm here for you...you know that.

4. yes I know and thank you
these days I think a lot about my dad again and that he left way too soon. He was only 55 and had a brain tumor. We were with him when he died at home (we decided not to do anything and let him die in peace). I lived near where he was in the hospital and saw him slip away more and more for about half a year. I feel at peace at the decisions we made. I still miss him a lot though.

We had to make the same decision with my Grandmother. I think about her all the time too.

21. to make a decsion about life and death
is really a hard decision. But because of being there when my father died (and I was also there when my one grandfather died) I have no fear of the death anymore. Of course I don't wanna die and I am scared of the pain before the dieing. But the death itself is for me a part of life and it can be a beautiful thing when someone dies peacefully with the family around.

32. no they don't
one thing that makes me very sad is that, if I ever going to get married (yeah right :eyes:) my father won't be there to give me away.

Sometimes I imagine that he, my unlce, both my grandfathers are sitting together, each of them has its cat on the lap and they talk about mathematics or computers (what they did when they lived anyway). I like that image.

one day we will be with them again. I don't know where that will be (and I don't believe in heaven or hell), but I will see them again. And I know my dad watches over me anyway. I know he would be proud of where I am these days (at least job wise).

3. Good morning Clint!
I'm freezing my arse off here until 7. Then I have this stupid staff meeting at 10am (same old stuff--quality services, blah blah blah, then the same staff get up and whine about stupid crap; big waste of time I could be sleeping :eyes:).

How is life in furniture world?

Well, a lot better than what you're having to put up with it seems. The only down side is that corporate keeps adding things we need to do in the AM to get ready for the store to open, so what used to take 45 minutes now takes almost 2 hours. :eyes:

Just out of curiosity, is there such a thing as a "bedroom set" that includes a daybed?

So they keep adding stuff.

Yes, there is such a thing as a bedroom set that includes a day bed, but we don't carry any of them in my store. I wish we did though, because I have guests asking for them all the time.

17. Without going into specifics
She paid me a compliment but I completely misunderstood her meaning and thus said something offhand and negative. I PMed her about it but I'm not sure she understood that it was pure screwup on my part. She seemed to be thinking that she had done something wrong, which she hadn't. I explained as clearly as I could but haven't heard from her since then. :(

It is very tempting to take the day off of school, because it's not like I'm losing a day's pay or anything. But, I have to remember to think in the long run. If I miss too much school, I will fail. So, I'm going. It's my short day anyway. I'll be home by 11:30am.
