What to cut out of the itinerary if I run out of time on vacation home?

Going home to CA in less than three weeks! We'll be there for seven full days, two travel days.

If we run out of time, what trip should we cut out?

1. Okay, who voted to cut the Chargers' game?!

I'm already making up my mind, so this is useful even though not that many people have voted.

2. I voted for the Chargers game.

But I just can't get into football, so...

Plus, you can see a football game anytime you want in DC or Baltimore.

6. ...but not the Bolts, and not for my BIL's birthday...

otoh, the game is the day after we arrive, and we'll have to leave around 9 AM to get down to SD... argh! Me and my bright ideas.

3. Knott's...

while it has some nice rides, it ain't the Knott's of your childhood. It's gotten kinda trashy.

4. Yeah, I know, but . . .

If the kids go, they'll go for the rides. Us old folks will stay in the Ghost Town, nasty though it may be. And maybe go on the stagecoach.

5. I love the wooden rollercoaster

they have two really great rollercoasters there

7. My god, what a lot of planning!

Makes my head hurt - I don't plan anything. Except sometimes the destination but once I'm there, I just do whatever I feel like. I hate being locked into any kind of an itinerary.

I'd cut out Hollywood, myself.

either I or Mrs. V. really wants to do all these things. Hollywood is her trip.

10. Sea World

Dolphins shouldn't have to live in an overgrown swimming pool and perform for people. Also the way they are captured (in the middle of a mass slaughter) is really fucking inhumane.

Since I know you're a compassionate person and you care about animals, maybe that would be the thing to skip.

Neither one are very interesting. Typical amusement parks.
