1. MTV and their crazy movies.
I liked it, but Dumb and Dumber is still my favorite "stupid movie"

5. "Just follow your heart...that's what I do."
I just LOVE that line and esp his monotone way of saying it! He's such a dork, but he's a lovable dork.

Vote for Pedro.

7. It really grew on me
First time, I was a bit "meh" with it (although I was in stitches with the time machine). Then I watched it a couple of months later with my brother & really liked it.

"I see you're drinking 1%. Is that 'cause you think you're fat? 'Cause you're not. You could be drinking whole if you wanted to."

8. Yes, I have. It got on my nerves. I think the appeal is to the 35 and
younger crowd.

11. That's interesting; I hadn't thought of the 23 and below crowd
I was forced to sit through part of it because of my Gen X or whatever they are inlaws....They were laughing hysterically, and I was thinking, "Shit, I guess I'll go to bed...."

I don't care for Gen X art, movies, or music...not sure why....just the whole cultural scene turns me off.

12. I consider it the "Clerks" of the present time.
It's so good! everyone is hung up, but they don't give themselves a hard time about it. for anyone who owns it...what is the farmer saying while they are eating egg sanwiches and drinking egg orange juice?

14. Yeah, weird film.
Edited on Tue Nov-01-05 12:19 PM by Taxloss
It looked a lot like that makers wanted to make a cult film - blatantly so. Enjoyable and funny in parts. Bizarre in other parts. Badly paced, with no plot arc to speak of. A curiosity.

16. One of the dumbest movies I've EVER SEEN
Next time I want to waste over an hour of my time, I'll remember this movie, and do something constructive instead.

It was too stupid to make sense.:boring:

17. Yes...it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
This "comedy" was about as fucking funny as brain cancer. For me, "Napolean Dynomite" is one of the worst films ever made.

20. Am over 40, was prepared to HATE it, and LOVED it.
I was coerced into watching it, and it completely won me over almost immediately. I couldn't believe how well it channeled teenage insecurity, incurable geekism, and just the humanity of what can be the bad luck of birthright. And yet, in spite of everything, the guy is a hero. Unbelievable. And utterly hilarious.

21. I find "Napoleon" a great antidote to effete pseudo-intellectualism
Plus it's got a good soundtrack. And Diedrich Bader.
