Can i brag for a moment?

My daughter just got her report card, she's been struggling a bit with math but she's been working really hard, she got a B and the rest of her grades were all A's, i am very relieved and very proud of her for working so hard at bringing her math grade up.

5. I sucked at math until 7th grade.

I was put in an advanced class, and I did horribly. The very next year though, same advanced class, I was top dog. Dunno why, I just sort of "got it" and ran with it. Never got less than an A after. Maybe chimpsrsmarterkid will run with it as well.

You sound like a good parent, trying to boost her self esteem...

8. when I was young i struggled with math too. it's a very frustrating

subject for some of us. good to hear everything's turning out ok with that, wish i could say the same for myself;)

My son, who is very bright, underachieved all through middle school. He will likely make either the A or B honor roll (he is a freshman in HS) after his finals this week.
