House of 1000 Corpses
I watched that movie yesterday. I thought it is a flawed masterpiece. The ending was bad but I love the look of the movie and the dialog. Rob Zombie is a genius.

1. Yeah, it was pretty good
More for the sinister subtext than the gore. Same with Chainsaw Massacre, which you'd also probably like if House did it for you. Right now I'm watching Horror's Scariest Moments on Bravo, on which Zombie's one of the commentators. Haven't really gotten a handle on his vision yet, though.

2. I thought it was pretty good until about the last 20 minutes.
After that it just lost me. It got WAY too random and crazy at the end.

3. I enjoyed it, especially Captain Spaulding
Really looking forward to seeing the sequel - The Devils Rejects - where, from what I've read, he lets rip.

btw -- did you DVD have the extra "Tiny Fucked A Stump"? I can't for the life of me work out what the hell that's all about. Is it some obscure American reference?

5. Tiny Fucked A Stump
is Captain Spaulding, Baby & Otis telling a variety of jokes (sometimes in Spanish) with the punchline always being "Tiny fucked a stump." This goes on for about 5 minutes, the it ends. A mystery..
