Can you still rent VIDEOS?
Do movies come out on video anymore, or are they only on DVD?

13. We don't have Target in Canada
But they aren't that expensive here either. It's a perfect thing for my Christmas list.

5. You can, but the offerings are getting less and less.
I think nowadays only the big movies (and Academy Award winners like "Million Dollar Baby") are coming out on videos. Everything else is only coming out on DVD...especially the independent films.

7. I think our local Blockbuster got rid of thiers
and Hollywood was selling them off when I was there last. When our vcr died last year I had a hell of a time finding a new one. I needed to replace it beacuse it was cheaper than replacing the movies we have on VHS, especially since some of the educational ones aren't on DVD.

8. Two words: Public Library....
If you're looking for VHS, they've got 'em. And, what seems interesting, ours continually has "new" videos. At our library, the videos and dvds are free for one week, with a limit of 4 (of either type or both) out at one time.

just so's ya know

9. I'll have to check that out
I don't have a bad record with the Vancouver Library system, so they might even let me borrow something.
