Nair - does it work? Tell me about it
Ok, a nonsense post. Nair hair remover "Say Goodbye to the Blade, Babe" (What a horrible slogan, btw) does it work?

I think I must have been a preteen when it came on the market. I have never used it. I never had a sister that used it. I don't think any girlfriend ever used it. I never had a wife that used it. It came up in conversation the other day for some odd reason and it was suggested that it was no longer made. I haven't seen a commercial in ages, so maybe it was just a bad product? The old commercials from the 70's made me a leg man.

Whats the deal? Does it work? Nair horror stories?

thanks

2. Nair Never worked on me
It stung and removed only 1/3 of the hair the last time I tried it a couple of years ago.

I use a richer cream and it works just fine.

3. It works
I use it because I hate to shave.

I have never had a problem with it but my Aunt accidently fell asleep with it on and burned her armpits.

4. It does work, but i don't recommend it.
If you don't leave it on long enough, it doesn't work, and if you leave it on too long, it burns. Also, I would NEVER use it on your pubic area; skin too sensitive, Nair too much like toxic waste.

It's been a long struggle for me with depilatories; I ahve a condition called polycystic ovarian syndrome and one of the symptoms is growing hair where only men are supposed to have it. I've tried everything I could find, short of electrolysis, and I don't think anything, in the end, works better than old-fashioned shaving.

Good luck,

The Plaid Adder

5. Nair works but...
It's kind of a pain to use. You have to cover yourself with goo and try not to touch your body to anything for 15 minutes.

My best friend is my Epilady.

9. Didn't work for me.
I have sensitive skin and tried the sensitive skin Nair but it still left my legs blotchy, in pain, and barely removed any hair.
