question about last night's South Park
OK, I'm culturally ignorant, I know, but what film were they referencing with the "I broke the damn" ending?

Was it "the Day after Tomorrow"? I need some video cliff-notes because I heard it was awful.

1. It reminded me of Spartacus, where everyone says "I'm spartacus"

2. Didn't see that one either
and thanks - Daisy and I were wondering what we missed.

3. I would be inclined to agree with Spartacus--
but it sucked--whatever it was.

With elements of Day After Tomorrow, the Katrina disaster in Nola (changing it to Beavertown), and poking fun at the very real threat of global warming... I was at a loss to get whatever it was really about.

There have been many episodes that hit on contemporary issues with satire and humour and I got it--whether I agreed with their stance or not, I could still find the humour in it and laugh about it. Last night, I didn't and couldn't. Just wasn't funny, unfortunately.
