We all know the end is near, so why do we fear it?
I can think of 6 natural disasters, 4 health problems (might be 3, symptoms intermixed), and 2 manmade issues (both of which pertain to money, go fig) that will mean the eventual end of us all.

It's coming.

So why do I allow myself to live in fear that it's all going to come a'crashin'? It's going to happen.

I'm not the general masses with a sappy sugary attitude that things will always work out. Too much has been leaked into the corporate media and there's too much said by REAL media.

As for me, should I at least cash in what's left of my life insurance and stocks to pay down more of my debt?

It sounds like you would benefit from having one.

You know, people are always full of doom and gloom, and I think a lot of it's not necessary.

For about thirty years now, I've been hearing people moan, "Oh, I don't know if I'd want to bring a child into this awful world we have nowadays, in these terrible times...."

OK, so what times do these people think would be better to bring a child into?

The 1400s? With the plague?

The 1700s? When the doctor's prescription for pneumonia was bleeding you?

The 1800s? When the average life span in America was about 40 years, not because everyone died at 40, but because SO MANY children died young?

Feh. How about a little optimism, for a change? It can do wonders for your outlook on life.

Just some friendly advice.

5. Because of the pain before the end.
I don't really fear the end as much as I fear watching relatives and friends die, wondering what will happen to the kiddo if I die before her, and not dying after dealing with the horror/maiming/torture/crazy survivors.

The end, I don't fear at all.
