*gumble grumble grumble*
I've just been asked by my colleague if I can check the changes he's made to my code when he's done, because he doesn't quite understand my code.

If you don't understand my code, should you be changing it? :(

Unfortunately this guy is my team leader, and I've only been working here a little while yet...

1. Hmmm...
That DOES seem a little strange that he's changing what he doesn't understand. I'd be grumbling too!

2. He is also always asking me questions about my code
that he would find the answers to if he looked in the documentation I provide... :(

3. Even a psuedo-luddite wanna-be like myself can tell that this is nonsense
The last thing that he should do is play around with something that he doesn't know anything about.

:pals:

6. On the plus side, the soup is nice today
Highland vegetable, my favourite. It is full of good hearty things like potato, leek, and peas. :bounce:

7. Lunch here is also good - especially after yesterday.
I forgot to bring mine - and so was left at the mercy of Tesco sandwiches.

At least you haven't had people borrow your programs, tell their (and your) boss that they wrote it, and then the boss has you check the code that "the other person did."

That HAS happened here. :eyes: (not to me)

11. your code being hereafter referred to as 'the code'...
your colleague seems to be suggesting that he did understand the code as a practical matter, that he had found errors in it; the code, has made changes he feels to have been contributory with respect to a resolution of what he perceived as a glitchy transition in the code, and is now suggesting by way of invitaion, so as to say, that you review the matter that you may be apprised of just where changes may have been required in the code

otherwise buck up me buckco, i don't see anyone here @ du suggesting that you are "undecipherable" it's just the world of venture & capital it to will pass ~

17. bwahaha...
it's all good = for Marlena Dietrich is was, "i vant to be alone", for artists it is, "i have a vision", for filmmakers it is, "my film's vision must prevail!", for programmers it is, "keep your hands my code, buster!"

i happen to agree with all y'all
