Each and every year, pathetically awful. At least Dick Clark is consistent.

1. It's not the fault of the AMA

I'm surprised they still offer awards for music anymore. Beyond a few good songs, what has the music industry offered us in the last few years? Lawsuits against 12-year-old file sharers? Poor Dick Clark!

2. No, it really is

It's been the same show for 31 years - bland and milquetoast. There's a difference between the music and the production of the show.

Also, polling the American public for the "winners" is heinous. The people are definitely not always right.

I mean, if the show was entitled "The American Car Awards"
most of the people would say "Oh, the Yugo seems like a fun Vehicle"
