What's For Dinner At Your House Tonight?
We're having chicken-fried cube-steak, with garlic seasoned red potatoes, sugar snaps and a side-salad topped with crumbled feta cheese. Sparkling water and an adult beverage.

27. Yummah!!!
This recipe is REALLY easily modified for seitan, and it's HELLA good... sounds similar to what you are having... or maybe not.

just sub seitan for chicken and veggie bullion cubes for chicken broth, and I usually go a little heavier on the peppers and don't pre-coat the seitan.

10 oz. chicken breast
2 green or red sweet peppers
2 green chili peppers
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornfl our (blended with 1-1/2 tablespoons of water)
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoons chicken broth
1 teaspoon sesame oil
6 tablespoons vegetable oil (I use peanut oil)

Dice chicken in 1/4 in. cubes. Cut sweet and chili pepper into 3/4 in. to 1/2 in. sqares.
Add blended cornflour and 1 tablespoon soy sauce to chicken and mix well.
Heat oil. When hot, add chicken and stir-fry briskly for 10 seconds. Remove, drain and pour off most of the oil.
Place pan over fire again. Add peppers. Stir-fry them for 1/2 minute in remaining oil in pan. Return chicken to pan. Add reamining soy sauce, vinegar and chicken broth. Stir fry briskly for 15 seconds. Sprinkle with sesame oil. Serve.

Boneless skinless chicken strips sauteed in olive oil, butter, rosemary, and garlic.
Tosed with some kind of pasta we got at Trader John's.
Mini cheese raviolis?
Smaller than a postage stamp.
Salad and some garlic bread.

It's all I can do to drag my tired ass home and feed the hubband. If I had kids, I'd probably be certifiably insane by now!

:silly:

I'm glad other people have them and can enjoy them. Just not my bag.
