OMGs! I'm wearing size 14 jeans again!

About a year and a half ago I was nearing a size 20W. Then in a sudden life changing moment I decided I was going to finally lose weight (for a very odd reason, I wanted to cosplay at anime conventions and look good doing so). Now I'm out of women's sizes and back into a regular size 14, which I haven't worn since middle school. I honestly doubt I've lost any weight, since I've put on muscle, but I think that looks good on me (I have a short, large boned build with wide hips and broad shoulders). So my mom was cleaning out my closet back home, and said she found an old pair of jeans. She asked me if I wanted to try wearing them again. And guess what... they fit :)

I feel happy today.

I need to lose 3 inches off my waist by halloween to fit into my "slytherin" skirt.... green and gray. Not canon, but I figure with a white shirt, tie, and knee socks, as well as a robe, it'll be obvious what I'm trying to be.

You do know that most people do it for the fun of it without any sexual connection at all, right? I don't just do anime cosplay, I do medieval, historical (I used to work at a historic landmark in costume until I moved away). Sometimes hobbies are just that, they're not necessarily sexual.

I make my own costumes and everything, and I go to conventions. My boyfriend dresses up too. It sounds really weird, but it's really fun and I've met tons of friends at cons.
