9. Tech and UT are losses.

We ALWAYS lose to Tech in Lubbock. UT...well...let's just say I won't watch the carnage. I'll go play golf or something. Tech and Iowa St are winnable. OU in Norman might be tough. If we go 3-2, I'll be thrilled. That would make us 8-4. That's about how I thought we'd end up.

6. I came to a conclusion last week...

when I was trying to figure out whether or not I could bring myself to root for Notre Dame against USC given that I LOATHE the Irish but need USC to lose to help out UT.

Anyway, this was my great revelation...you gotta root for who you'd normally root for. The teams play and the chips fall where they may. If you change it up and try to root based on overthinking things...you just screw up your karma.

So, as much as I'd like UT to win a national championship...I'm technically rooting for Tech this weekend...because I ALWAYS root for Tech first. But no matter what I can't lose 'cause if UT wins then I'm still happy. :)
