UGH!!! How I spent my Sunday Night: Cleaning candlewax out of the sink

Spent the weekend housecleaning and throwing stuff away. And on Sunday evening I decided to take a nice relaxing bubble bath and lit a few candles in the bathroom to add to the relaxation.

One of the candles didn't quite fit in and I was going to return it to the kitchen; however, before I had a chance to move it - I bumped it and all the wax from the last 2 hours that it was burning poured into my bathroom sink. What's worse was the candle scent was "Hot Apple Pie" and although the scent was great the color of it was a nasty shade of dark yellow.

So instead of my relaxing bubble bath I spent 2 hours cleaning wax out of my sink which looked like dried on puke from the color of the candle

1. Would it have been easier to let the wax harden?

2. I had a bath but it only lasted for about 15 minutes

instead of the 45-hour I was hoping to soak & relax in the tub

4. Thing is, after I brought it into the bathroom...

...I knew it wasn't going to fit the mood. It's fricking Hot Apple Pie - not quite a bathroom scent. So I was going to return it back to the kitchen when I knocked it over.

I ended up using my Clean Cotton and Green Grass scents for the bathroom.

When are you coming to Delaware?

Hopefully soon. It looks like I can keep up with school from anywhere...so...we'll see. :)

Seriously - hotel is paid for - all you need to do is fly in and bring some spending cash.

And it's a nice hotel too
