1. But, but, but . . .
I'm BOTH an Okie and an Arkie. Born in one, grew up in the other.

2. Sure. You're torn. I understand.
But everyone on the East coast, West Coast, South coast, and North border are REALLY PISSED!

4. Thank you for understanding
the my roots and feeling my pain. I'd like to describe my origins as a dichotomy, but this term implies two especially mutually exclusive or contradictory groups or entities, which Oklahoma and Arkansas are _not_. :eyes

5. Husker fans used to be much classier.
The rivalry in the 70's and 80's was one of mutual respect.

I urge you to return to those days, corn boy. ;)

20. No harm, no foul
I used to get that a lot, actually. Probably has a lot to do with the number of sports-related threads I join. ;)

I was somewhat kidding. I didn't have a problem with him until he coached for the Cowboys.

Btw, I'm a girl. ;)

11. "She is woman, hear her roar . . ."

By the way, when I lived in Nebraska, and used to go home to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving, my Okie and Arkansas relatives made fun of Tom Osborne's hair and said he looked like Howdy Doody. (As though Barry Switzer and Jimmy Johnson had cornered the "good hair" market. )

12. He DID look like Howdy Doody!
Not only do I not respect the rivalry (apparently), I don't bow to the Altar of Osborne either.

Bad Husker Fan. Bad! ;)

Buuuuuuuuuurn! Chadron. :scared:

I was there once. For 4 days. By day 2 I was so desperate for civilization that I went to the only store in town that was open past 5. The Super Walmart. 'nuff said.

Not a good question to ask in Chadron. I learned the hard way.
