So, Go Houston! I don't know what team you are - rangers or astros - and I don't care. Just beat St. Louis!

Plus, I had a job interview in Houston once with a very neat company filled with very nice people and had a great day interviewing. I didn't get the job, but I had fun being there, and enjoyed my lunch with the CEO and, if memory serves, his broker or something - anyway, the lunch was totally about the CEO guy and his guest, and not about the job, but it was still cool because they were both good conversationalists and told me a lot of Houston history and folklore and stuff, none of which I remember, but I'll always remember that trip.

2. But you're in Texas, you should be glad I want the Houston team to win!
Shouldn't you?

4. Holy Shit you're a FIB!
I never would have thought!

Anyway, you have to at least give me credit for using the word "hanker".

5. I wasn't born in IL - although I did live there for several years.
I was born overseas. :)

Yes, you do get points for correct use of the work "hanker". :D

6. And thank God you born overseas, and in a DECENT nation, too
FIBland hasn't tainted you at all, that's why I was surprised to hear you say that you partly grew up in that Land That God Shunned.

And thanks for the hanker points!

7. A year in a little town called O'Fallon (near E. St. Louis) and 3 years
on Chanute AFB, near Rantoul.

It was the 3 years after Chanute in Hawaii that saved me. ;)

8. If I had to choose between E. St. Louis or Hawaii..... it would be hard,
but I think I'd come down on the side of Hawaii.

:P

10. Go wicket city of St. Louis!
Some day Paul Bunyan's relatives will croquet their way through that Arch.
