Now I'm going to buy a ticket because 340 million would make me giddy and giggly. However, I sometimes wonder why the big lines for one dollar tickets when the jackpot gets this big but not when the jackpot is twenty million say. Is twenty million just not worth the dollar? If someone wins twenty million dollars do they think. 'oh crap not another twenty million dollar jackpot. Some day I'll hit it big.'

And my final Power Ball mini rant is; how about 680 winners. What if the three hundred and forty million were broken down to 500,000 dollar prizes?
Would not most our lives be vastly impacted by five hundred thousand dollars not to mention that five hundred and seventy nine more people would win?
