5. The neighborhood is good

Very transitional. I think not too long ago it was probably pretty seedy, but they're building 4-5 new high rise loft apartments (one right across the street), so it's going to be very nice soon.

The whole LA-vibe is going to take some getting used to. My Midwestern self is a little bit overwhelmed at the moment. ;)

12. Riley's doing pretty good

better than me, actually, lol. I swear, nothing phases that cat. ;) He didn't like the delivery guys going in and out all day, but otherwise he's prancing around like he owns the place.

The new job starts next Monday. Which is turning out to be a good thing. Installing everything, waiting for the moving guy, and getting the car smog tested and licensed is going to take all week!
