Rant time.

You know, when I was in elementary school and Clinton was governor of this state, he inherited one of the most PISS poor school systems in the nation. He worked and assessed the situation and we began our climb. After Clinton became President, Jim Guy Tucker was in office here and was continuing the climb. I remember when we were getting respect. Then, Tucker had a skeleton in his closet he could not avoid and Huckabee took over.

During Huckabee's tenure, we've done nothing but fall. Once again, we're in the lower half of school ratings in the nation. His faith based bullshit has done nothing but harm our schools and the damn people in this state are too enchanted by what that fucking R next to a name means. They think by being a Republican they are becoming richer and gaining a status, but they don't realize that their kids are suffering for it!

I have truly been pissed off at Huckabee since 1999, when on GMA, he revealed that he was standing in front of his temporary home, a triple wide trailer. He wanted to empathize with the rest of Arkansas, a state which has one of the lowest trailer residences, per capitia, in the nation. He was making us out to be fucking hick, after he fucking signed off on a multi-million dollar project to renovate the Governor's Mansion. Now, I'm all for historic preservation, but that money should have been used on the schools.

Then, just last week, a ruling came done on the constitutionality of the school funding programs. The masters of education that the legislature had appointed lambasted the governor on his plan. He, of course, responded that they were insulting the tax payer.

If Huckabee runs for office in 08, I'm going to have to fight him at every stop in the state of Arkansas. That man deserves political office less than a sponge needs to breathe out of water.
