Today is my 4th anniversary at DU.

I had lurked here almost from the beginning, but was shy about joining...until the day after this country started bombing the hell out of Afghanistan. I didn't have a home computer until the following January, but was immediately hooked on this place.

It's been a way to cope. Thanks all.

Nearly bedtime for me, but I am two hours ahead of you. Andy Stephenson never quite undersood that. On work nights, I'd head to bed at 10 my time (my alarm is set for 5:35). He'd say it was only 8....not here.

because I remember seeing you here. I didn't spend a lot of time online in the first year and a bit because after I got my home computer in January of 2002, I was on dialup for a year. Andy Stephenson then convinced me to get DSL, and he was right.
