4. The house certainly does look British....
Where did they live?

And I agree with hippywife that Skittles' grandfather looks like Fred McMurray. How did your mother turn out so blonde with two dark-haired parents?

oh that house is hundreds of years old.....the hair? Oddly enough that pic doesn't nearly show the color of grandma's hair - it was screaming red....I am still blode at almost 50 but that could be because my dad was Norwegian

9. I know where Great Yarmouth is.
And I am another blonde whose parents both had dark hair.

We always said that we'd be surprised if one of the triplets turned out to be a blonde -- since both parents are brunettes. The laugh was on us, because there is a blond boy.

Go figure...recessive genes and all that.

19. Hundreds of years old?
By the looks of it, I would date it as a Victorian terrace - admittedly that's based on a small picture.

11. The best light in the days before flash
:D

Lovely pics.

I don't know that they look especially "British" to me, in that they are more dressed up than we would be. Otherwise, I have the same types of photos in my collection. :-)

15. Definately
In fact I can't decide if it's your parenets or Godlesscommieprevert's parents' picture in the dictionary next to the defintion of '(white) british people.'

20. Yes
Your granddad looks somewhat similar to my granddad who was Brittish. The shape of the face is the same and the dark hair. That's a great pic to have. :hi:
