Maybe the White Sox are due. Their last World Series win was 1917, the year before Boston won. Then they were tainted by the Black Sox scandal. A World Series win this year could forever let that rest.

As a long suffering South Side Cub Fan, I'm absolutely delighted for the Sox.

Granted Sox fans can be rather "over the top" when it comes to the Cubs, but give me a break. No Chicago baseball team has won a World Series since 1908. I really don't give a damn which team breaks that record. If the Sox do it, fair play to them. They've played some great baseball this season, which is more the than Cubs did.
