I've got my 25 yr reunion tonight which I'm not attending. Bad falling out with group of friends many years ago. I don't want to go back (they turned out not to be such good friends after all), am grateful for the fun times, but sad it ended up this way.

So tonight, and just for tonight, it's a little bit tough.

OTOH, I have more room for positive people in my life, and I'm quite happy about that.

even if I do have to go in to work in the morning, I won't have to take phone calls, and I won't have to fight traffic and if I don't get there at exactly 8 it is OK.

We will get pizza and door prizes too, and time & 1/2 of course.

Time to get lots of back office work done.

We can't get our routed issues done for all the stuff that is transferred to us from general customer service that can be handled by those reps.

I swear, they just hear the word "tax", they freak and transfer the call without even trying to answer the question. Yesterday only 1/3 of my total call volume was for legitimate got to do it now property tax issues. The rest were escrow problems and that is general CSR work.
Dammit when I was a regular CSR I didn't transfer anything if I could figure it out myself.

Rant is now ended. We will now return to our regularly scheduled insanity
