1. Same here - usually I have most of my work done by now
so I just read DU

Plus all the salaried people have some excuse to bail out early on Friday, so I file my nails like a good officemonkey, guilt-free :)

6. yeah, that makes sense
I have a bizarre work schedule... part time, but that means I work Sundays sometimes.... so I don't have the regular workweek, like I used to. But when I did, I tended to spend a lot of Friday chatting and having long lunches.... I really don't think people want to do much work on Friday, unless you have a deadline or somethin.

5. Where I work - we get every other Friday off!
The bad part is that we have to work 9 hour week days in return.

Unfortunately since I was on vacation last Friday I'm here today.

But eh, I'm sitting around with practically nothing to do anyways.

8. I used to work 4 10 hour days at one job I had
in the summer, and take Friday off, that was very cool. That was before I had a little one. Can't do 10 hour days anymore...

7. because I have a production meeting
where I am managing three course development efforts and I REALLY like the guys working on the projects, so it's a treat to hammer out their work with them.

Plus, I don't have to work tomorrow.

I enjoy them since the kid is off school and I can sleep in. I do work on Sunday fairly often, so it isn't a weekend to me in quite the same sense either.

Hope you are able to find something....

14. Because I work a half hour less than I do the rest of the week
which means I get to add 30 more minutes to my weekends and to the total hours away from this hellhole.

Think of that Simpsons episode where one of them says they like Sundays right after church because it marks the most time possible between leaving there going there again. It's kind of like that.

Also Bill Maher is on tonight and there's a good show I'm going to later AND I get to sleep in for once on Saturday. Huzzah.

22. sleeping in is good
before I started my own business, I had a job where the dread began on Sun afternoon. So, I have less money, but no dread, to speak of. What do you do, if you want to say?
