3. Well, I can offer this advice

When I was in college I applied for a badass summer internship. $500/week, company car. Helluva gig for a college student. They told me that I had been selected, I'd just need to take a physical and a drug test at the end of the spring term.

So, with great remorse, I restrained. Kept clean. Walked out of rooms at parties for fear of second hand smoke. Took the test and passed it.

Thing is, I saw the results and what they tested for. All sorts of hard stuff: Coke, meth, things I've never even heard of. And THC?

Never. Tested. For. It.

Later, I learned that it was my legal right to know what specific things they were testing for.

All I'm saying is, find out what the test will cover. And for THC, it takes at least two weeks to clear.

I did have friends in college who were pot smoker (I've never used - most folks can vouch for that) and when they finally got around to graduating and getting jobs they just kept clean for a month until after the job was secured.

There is stuff you can buy on the net but I had an ex-boyfriend fail with it (well, we really just dated - nothing serious).

So tell your friend that if the job is really worth it, just keep clean a few weeks and you'll be fine.

27. it really depends...

when I was in college I had "a friend"
who had smoked heavily (several times daily) for a number of years.
This friend went to the local meth clinic after abstaining for 3 weeks and they told her it was not even close.

So that friend went to the ListerHill Medical library and read up on it.
And the only fool proof way to beat it is to delete the volume of the urine.

See there is actually an allowable amount allowed in the urine. they test for nanogram of substance/millileter of urine.

So drinking 64 ounces of water or tea starting 11/2 - 2 hrs prior to the test and then peeing several times before the the test will work. You will know if you drank enough if you create the diuretic effect...where you go and then 10 minutes later you have to go again.

After reading this info, my friend tried it and went back to the local meth clinic and paid for another test...it came back "clean as a whistle."

My friend has passed at four drug tests using this method.

It's worth the $35(20 years ago prices) bucks a pop for a couple of tests to feel safe.

I actually failed my first test when I got this recent job because there was too much water in my urine.

My reason for excessive water - I get bladder shy so I drank a ton of water to ensure I had to go when I went in for the test. So I had one last chance to pass the test or I wouldn't get the job and turned to the other urine enducing liquid.

I did test positive for caffeine abuse but I passed. I had 2 cappucinos and it did the trick.

Flushing yourself out with water is good but don't down excessive amounts of water before you go in there because they are now testing for water. But they will give you a second chance - the water test is just an indication that you might be hiding something.

23. I quit for 21 days, drank prodigious amounts of water and the more

acidic juices (lemon, lime, grapefruit, cranberry) and took Vitamin B, C and echinacea.
I smoke every day (when I HAVE any, dammit, which at the moment I don't and tomorrow's the weekend, grrrrrrrrr.....)
And I passed; my son-in-law, who used to smoke daily, said it can be done in a week or less, but I wanted to play it safe.
On edit: prior to the test, I had been pretty well-stocked, so I had been smoking daily. I also walked quite a bit; they say exercise helps too.

I know of one company that takes hair, not from the head, but from the arm, chest, or leg. and thc can be found for a few months in hair I think. and the same company does random drug tests throughout employment, so it's not a one time thing before hiring only. bummer for those that toke.

Abstain as long as possible. Two ot three weeks would be best. Don't bother drinking a lot of water during this time it won't help.

THC stores in fat cells. The above advice about it being a bad time to diet is valid.

A little extra exercise wouldn't hurt to flush the system some but stop exercising a day or so before the test.

When you give the test drink plenty of water and never give the first urine of the day as it is dirtier and also not the first few drops that come out or the last.


If they give you grief about clear urine tell them you are a healthy human being and you drink 8 glasses of water a day and that is the color it always is.

And that is the truth anyway. Most people do not drink enough fluids and their urine is a lot darker than it should be.

If you are in a situation where you have to beat a test on the spot with no warning then you are screwed. Other than the above mentioned fake urine of course.

EDIT: Make that two or three weeks minimum would be best. Pot leaves slowly and a month or more would be absolutely the best. If you are a chronic user anyway. A casual user will clean up quicker.
