Can an employer give you your review and then make added remarks later?

Before you sign it?

Let's just say they were glib, callous, and made some unwarranted additions (never mind the whole thing lacks examples as regulations state it should)...

but it'd be scummy. You should be getting a copy of your written review regardless.

they cannot be changed. Refuse to sign it.

4. Are you in a union?

They can do whatever they want concerning reviews if you aren't in a union. Chances are that even if you were in a union they could still do it. Most companies are on a volunteer basis these days anyway.

There is no law that I am aware of that says a company must give you a review and then not change anything on it.
