4. I love Ethel......
My dad and mom got into this titantic argument when I was a wee lad of about 3...

I remember them storming into the house arguing about whether EM was a credit to the broadway stage or some over blown broadway has been....

Curiously, My little sis was born about nine months later....

From my favorite episode of the Judy Garland Show, here's Barbra Streisand (her first appearance on tee-vee she was 21), Ethel and Judy.

Ethel was in the studio next door taping a Red Skelton show and heard Babs and Judy singing. Her curiosity piqued, she sneaked in to sit in the audience for this taping, at a quiet moment in the show she started singing "THERE'S NOOO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS!!" The camera panned to the audience, she took the stage and hugs and kisses ensued.

Best damn tee-vee evah!! This was in 1963 btw and is available on DVD.
