I just re-hauled my kitchen sink...ask me anything.

Re-plumbed the kitchen sink in my 90 year old house (is replumb a word?).

In a double sink...I put in a new strainer on one side, a garbage disposal on the other(it didn't have one), ran wiring behind the floor cabinets, replaced the "floor" of the cabinet because the old particle board had been water damaged to the point of growing mold (had to wipe down the inside with bleach), wired up a switch for the disposal under the sink, and re-plumbed the entire works with brand new PVC pipe.

I had NEVER done any plumbing before, and only one other home electrical job (years of auto-wiring helps).

So...my girlfriend is working her overnight shift, and I'm so excited I finished, I had to tell somebody. AND...it only took me 15 hours (about 8 of actual work).

So...fire away.

4. I was banging my head when she left at 7:30.

Couldn't figure out how to wire the switch. What a stoner...it came to me how to wire it correctly after my last pinch of green. I just had to step away for awhile.

Once it came to me, it took me another hour and a half.

When she left, she thought she wouldn't be able to use the sink until at the earliest Friday. I work in concert production (16-18 hour days). I've got gigs lined up for the next three days. So it wasn't it going to be for the next few days.

Dishes were piling up quickly and she was starting to get a little short with me. No dishwasher to store dirty dishes either (thats next).

So yes, there will be some reward nookie IF we see each other in the next three days.
