We'd have one hell of a time winning against a guy who carries PA.

1. I dont think (In)San(e)torum would ever make it past the primaries.
But then again, we have the backwards administration running everything so you never know.

6. He definitely would make it through the Republican primaries
Their base loves a great mind of the 13th Century. When the country as a whole finds out what he's about then he's toast.

Let's see him make it through '06 first. Whoever the Republicans put up in '08 will undoubtedly be as scary as Santorum. Brownback and Frist come to mind.

3. If Man-On-Dog wins the Republican nomination...
...the Democratic candidate has a Diebold-proof margin of victory in '08.

4. Explain how. If he can win in PA, why can't he win in all the red states?

5. Even in the worst case scenario, it probably will not happen.
Unlike Bush, he can't even fool people into thinking he's moderate.

7. Casey (D) currently has big double digits on him in the Senate race...
I don't think he'll have much appeal after he loses his Senate seat.

10. Republicans, like sadists, enjoy the smell of fear.
I'm all for free speech, but you don't have a winning attitude JVS. Let's focus on the local and state races in 2005. Okay?

12. Don't get my hopes up.
I would absolutely LOVE to see Santorum turn the Republican primaries into a huge freakshow!.
