15. Oh my yes, I just got my new paddle (a Werner Sidekick--top o' the line)

I've been out 5 of the last seven days--and just bought a dry suit so I can paddle until freeze up.

here's a link to what I did Monday night. I am NOT the hot shot in the video, but I AM the guy who crosses behind him (in the yellow boat with the blue bow and white paddle blades) I had just been washed out of that hole.

Oh that was a great night, there were about twenty of us, and the levels were GREAT, beutiful weather, good paddling, and good friends. Getting trashed in the next hole down and breaking my trusty old paddle didn't even make me mad!

Thanks for the 'heads-up' about your boat in the shot.

I've done white-water rafting and I still canoe peacefully so I can almost feel the excitement as I watched the clip!

25. Dang, now that I look more closely at the video

I think that might be a different friend--if you look closely there is a strap hanging off of the front of the boat in back. I don't have anything tied to my grb loops so I don't think that is me after all :(

This is a little arcane but the molding for the feet in that boat look a little more like a WaveSport than a Bliss Stick. I have the same boat as the main paddler--just a bigger size.

Not that y'all'd know any of 'em but I am trying to figure out who tha guy is, white paddle, yellow wave sport, who IS that guy?

Oh well, I WAS there that night and had eight ten rides in that hole, of greater and lesser lengths, often resulting in getting "worked" or "throttled" and susbsequently having to roll up.

I am proud to say that feature never made me swim!
